After breakfast on the boat we got taken to shore to start our 16k hike from Anchorage south through the mountains and along the coast to Marahau. When we stopped to have lunch on the beach we found these tiny balls of clear jelly washed up on sure like dew. I picked them up and was squishing one around in my hand then found out they were tiny tiny jelly fish!
Our hostel today was on a farm so we were surrounded by lush green hills, cows, sheep... And llamas. Seriously cool llamas fluttering their lashes for our cameras. Pros.
We spent the afternoon throwing a rugby around then having a couple of beers down at the cafe by the beach before eating the biggest burger I have ever seen for dinner. Genuinely the same size as my handspan.
Back at the hostel we got out the wine and hung out around the camp fire singing spice girls and Britney at the top of our voices. I am on such a high right now, the right kind of tipsy and so very chilled. Great food, great wine, great company.
